Steade

Community rules

Last updated 1 October 2026

Steade is for adults in Singapore who want a lasting relationship. Every member’s identity is checked before their profile goes live. Verification tells you someone is a real adult; it doesn’t tell you their intentions, so these rules apply to everyone.

Be who you are

  • Use your own recent photos and your real first name or a name you go by.
  • Don’t pretend to be someone else, or let anyone else use your account.
  • One account per person. Duplicate accounts are closed.

Be respectful

  • No harassment, threats, hate speech or pressure, in chat or anywhere else.
  • No sexual or explicit content. Chat on Steade is text only.
  • If someone ends a conversation or passes on an introduction, respect it.

No scams or selling

  • Never ask a match for money, crypto, gift cards or investments, and never offer them.
  • No advertising, recruiting or selling of any kind.
  • For your first 14 days, links and phone numbers can’t be sent in chat. It slows down scammers who try to move people off the app quickly.

Stay safe

  • Keep talking on Steade until you’re comfortable. You never have to share your number.
  • Meet in a public place for the first time, tell a friend where you’ll be, and get there on your own.
  • If anything feels wrong, end the conversation, block or report. Every introduction and conversation has these.

What happens when rules are broken

Our moderators review every report. We acknowledge reports within 24 hours and review urgent ones within 4 staffed hours. Depending on what happened, we may warn the member, put the account on hold while we review it, or close it. A new account is placed on hold after a single report until a moderator has looked at it. If we act on your account, we tell you why and how to appeal.

Steade is not an emergency service. If you’re in danger, call 999 for the police or 995 for an ambulance.
